MCHS Soccer Hosts GMC & Bryan Co.
The Montgomery County High School Eagles fell to the Bulldogs of Georgia Military College early in the week, but bounced back with a pair of victories over the Bryan County Redskins on Thursday.
Girls vs. GMC
Against the Lady Bulldogs of GMC, MCHS couldn't find a way to get on the board in the close game. GMC scored the only goal of the game as they took the win, 1-0.
Boys vs. GMC
It was a tough game for the Eagles as the Bulldogs put 6 goals on the board in the first half of the game. GMC added 4 more goals in the second half on the way to a 10-0 win over MCHS.
Girls vs. Bryan Co.
In the girls game with Bryan County, the Lady Eagles scored 3 goals and held the Lady Redskins scoreless to take the win, 3-0.
Boys vs. Bryan Co.
In the boys game MCHS took the win, 5-1. Issak Sistrunk led the way for MCHS with 2 goals. Ramone Garcia, Abe Garcia, and Anthony Bently each scored 1 goal for the Eagles.
This week the MCHS hosted Dooly County on Tuesday after presstime. They will be back in action on Thursday when Hawkinsville comes to town at 5:00 p.m.
