TCHS Track At Bryan Co.
The Toombs County High School track & field team kicked off their 2025 season with an impressive showing at Bryan County. The Track Dawgs delivered standout performances across multiple events, with several athletes securing first-place finishes and strong placements.
Girls For the Lady Bulldogs, D’Shanti Bodie took 1st place in girls 100m and 200m dash. Shaylin Stringer finished in 1st place in girls discus. Taylor Bland was 1st in the girls 100m hurdles. Shania Brown took 2nd place in girls 100m and 200m dash, and Makenna Gardisser came in 2nd place in girls long jump.
Boys
Hayden Roy came in 1st place in boys discus and triple jump. Hayden Bullard took 1st place in boys shot put. Kareem Palmer finished in 1st place in boys high jump, and Don Mincey was 1st in the boys 100m dash.
Brandon Stevens finished in 2nd place in boys 110m hurdles. Cole Russell took 2nd place in boys 800m. Gavin Doyle came in 2nd place in boys long jump, and Nemo Scott took 2nd place in boys 100m dash. Alex Scott finished in 2nd place in boys 200m dash and 3rd place in boys 100m dash.
The boys 4x100m relay team came in 2nd place, and the 4x200m relay finished in 2nd place.
The Track Dawgs showed speed, strength, and determination in their season opener and will look to build on this momentum when they travel to Fitzgerald High School on Wednesday, March 5.
