TJ Stanley got the win for Toombs as he gave up just three hits, while striking out seven. Jackson Berry took the loss for the Indians but he did strike out eight batters.

Game 3

VHS appeared to have this game under control until the Bulldogs exploded for five runs in the fourth inning, and then took the lead in the sixth.

VHS scored two runs in the top of the first inning off a two-run single by McCaw. VHS added to that lead in the fourth inning with three more runs to take a 5-0 lead over the Bulldogs.

Toombs came storming back in the bottom of the fourth inning to tie the game at 5-5. Toombs loaded the bases and a hit-by-pitch, and error and a single by Brantey Upshaw. That sent the game to the fifth.

Neither team scored in the fifth inning, but in the bottom of the sixth inning Toombs took their first lead of the game from a solo home. Harris stepped up and put Toombs on top with a shot to left field. Toombs held in the seventh to take the win, 6-5.

Ryder Sears got the win for Toombs on the mound in relief. Carson Ricks took the loss for the Indians, This week Toombs played a nonregion game on Tuesday after presstime against Metter on the road. VHS made up their final Region game on Monday against Brantley County after presstime. Those game will wrap up the Regular season.
