VHS Splits With Pirates

The Indian soccer teams of Vidalia High School hosted the Pirates of Appling County last Thursday. VHS split their games with the Lady Indians winning and the VHS boys falling. The Lady Indians got their first goal at the 26:41 mark and added a second at 21:58 as they went ahead 2-0. VHS got a third goal at 12:38 and then added goal number four at 10:41. The final goal of the game came 7:45 as the Lady Indians won 5-0 over the Lady Pirates.

In the boys game the Pirates kept the Indians off the scoreboard as they took the win 3-0. Vidalia hosted Tattnall County on Tuesday of this week after presstime. They will play next on Friday in Blackshear as they face the Bears of Pierce County. The girls will kick off at 5:00 p.m. and the boys will follow.
