Soap Box Derby Signups

The Annual Southeast Georgia Soapbox Derby is coming up and signups for the race are being held now. Along with the Soap Box Derby, there will also be the SuperKids race which will be held the day before. The SuperKids race will be on Friday, April 30, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The race is for physically and mentally challenged individuals to get their chance to go down Derby Hill at Partin Park. There will be plenty of volunteer drivers on site to drive them in specially made Soap Box Derby cars. Then on May 1, beginning at 8:00 a.m. the Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby will kick off. The race is for ages 7-18 and has several different classes that will be running down Derby Hill over the day. To sign up for the SuperKids or Soap Box Derby races call Matt Driggers at 912-293-7960.
