Eagles Split With Dooly

The Montgomery County High School soccer teams took on the Bobcats of Dooly County last week and split their games. The Lady Eagles took a win, while the boys fell in a tough match.

Girls The MCHS girls picked up two first half goals in their contest with Dooly. MCHS kept Dooly off the scoreboard as the Lady Eagles won the match 2-0.

Boys

In the boys game the Eagles struggled against the Bobcats. MCHS did find the back of the net one time in the first half of the game, but at halftime the score was 3-1. Dooly added three more goals in the second half on their way to a 6-1 win over MCHS.

This week the Eagles played McIntosh County Academy and Dublin after presstime. They will be back in action on Friday when they host rival Treutlen County for a girls game only at 5:00 p.m.
