TCHS Fishing Kicks Off Season

On Saturday, the Toombs County bass fishing team opened their season in Bainbridge, GA, competing in the GHSA Qualifying Tournament at Lake Seminole.
Team members included Gracie Landrum, Carlie Richter, Clayton Williams, and AJ Bagby. These students battled freezing temperatures on the water while competing with over 200 other teams.
After a hard day on the lake, the teams were not able to land any fish. The next tournament will be at Lake Oconee on February 17, and hopefully the conditions will be more favorable.
