A SUCCESSFUL YEAR OF COMPETITION – The Toombs County High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students had a successful year, earning many accolades in regional and state competitions. Toombs County High School (TCHS) Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students had an outstanding year of competition at both the regional and state levels. The group also participated in the 2026 State Leadership Conference, held on March 24–27 in Columbus, Georgia.

At the regional level, STAR Event competitors included Julissa Borja (Chapter in Review Display) and Gabe Polke (Interior Design). At the state level, Rose Polke earned a silver medal in Entrepreneurship, while Alona Wright received a bronze medal in Public Policy Advocate.

In the Lapel Pin Design Competition, Eleanor Martinez and Julissa Borja captured first place in the state of Georgia. Additionally, several students (Julissa Borja, Star Cribbs, Gabe Polke) participated in the Statesman Exam.
