VHS CELEBRATES NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE — November is officially recognized as Native American Heritage Month, and history students at Vidalia High School celebrated their 'Indian' Heritage by researching and constructing original posters on historical aspects of Native Americans. The students made presentations of their research to their classmates, and their posters were displayed throughout the school as VHS honors the diversity of the various people-groups that have built this country. PACKED MEETING – Several family members, friends, community members, and former students attended the Montgomery County Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, April 22, as the school auditorium was dedicated to Patricia Dobbins.
