Story Time
Kids can enjoy hearing a reading of The Lorax by Dr. Seuss and meet the character during a special Story Time event at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, at Lyons City Hall, located at 161 N.E. Broad Street. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (912) 526-6445.
Georgia Bible Reading Day
Montgomery, Toombs, Treutlen, and Wheeler Counties will read portions of the Bible outside of their respective county courthouses on Tuesday, July 14, as a part of Georgia Bible Reading Day. Toombs, Treutlen, and Wheeler County’s readings will begin at 7:14 a.m.; Montgomery County’s reading will begin at 7:14 p.m. This event is free and open to all community members.
Vacation Bible School
Liberty Baptist Church, 536 S. Victory Dr., Lyons, will have Vacation Bible School July 13-17, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m., for ages 4-12.

Friends & Family Day
Bible Baptist Church is celebrating America each Sunday in July. Friends & Family Day will be held on Sunday, July 12. Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and worship service at 11:00. Everyone is invited to attend.
