The high school senior team placed second. Team members included Marlee Veal, 4th high individual; Owen Stokes, 6th high individual; Amber Seabolt, 7th high individual; and Lily Parker, 12th high individual.

The high school junior team won first place at the area contest. Team members were Lane Conell, 1st high individual; Trent Butler, 3rd high individual; Carson Ford, 4th high individual; and Zoey Vann, 5th high individual. Both the junior and senior high school teams will advance to the State contest in Perry on October 11, 2022. The middle school team placed 3rd at the Area 4 Land Judging CDE. It's time to FALL into FLOWERS! On Thursday, September 22, 2022, Wheeler County FFA hosted a floral design workshop led by the Central Region Horticulture Teacher, Melissa Riley. Sixteen students and their agriculture teachers from nearby counties traveled to the new school to learn how to make three different floral arrangements in preparation for the area 4 Floral Design Career Development Event. This contest was held in Toombs County on September 27, 2022. Thanks to all who helped and participated in our workshop. Good luck to all competitors at the upcoming contest.
