NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REQUEST FOR VARIANCE Notice is hereby given that the Vidalia Planning & Zoning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the John Raymond Turner Municipal Annex, 302 First Street East, Vidalia, Georgia. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request for a variance from the setback requirements of the City of Vidalia Zoning Ordinance for property located at: 1528 Clydette Boulevard Vidalia, Georgia 30474 The property is zoned R-2 (Single Family Residential District - Medium Density). The applicant is requesting a variance to allow the construction of a carport that would extend beyond the setback requirements permitted within the R-2 zoning district.
