UGA “Athletics in Your Town”

Comes to

Vidalia

University of Georgia Bulldogs fans can see historic artifacts and memorabilia during the UGA “Athletics in Your Town” display, which will be set up in the Dr. Mark and Tonya Spivey Public Library, located at 610 Jackson Street in Vidalia, 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Thursday, June 25.

Bingo

Bingo will be held again each Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. to raise money for the United Way of Toombs, Montgomery, and Wheeler Counties. It costs $20 per adult and $10 per child, and is held weekly at the Dahlia Event Center, located at 200 SW Main Street in Vidalia.

Vidalia’s July 4th Celebration

The City of Vidalia will celebrate Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the United States of America during a celebration at Ronnie A. Dixon City Park on Saturday, July 4. Gates will open for the free event at 5:30 p.m., the A1A Band will take the stage at 7:15 p.m., and fireworks will light up the sky at 9:30 p.m. For more information, call (912) 538-8687.
