IT’S BETTER TO BE BY GARY TOOLE A few years ago there was a T.V. show they called “It’s Good To Be” and they featured rich kids and show off all their wealth and rich kid toys. They flaunt their money and stuff yet the world is full of starving, dying poor people. I thought, “No, it’s good to be a true born again Christian. It’s good to have a heart of love and charity for humanity. That’s what it’s good to be.” One show featured Justin Timberlake when he was much younger. A teen idol. One of the gods of this world and they said, “It’s good to be Justin Timberlake.” Oh, he’s got this and that. Temporal stuff that is here today and gone tomorrow. The fact is that if you have all the money in the world and die lost and undone without God or His son then you will die the poorest person on earth. Amen! I thought, “It could read this way. ‘It’s better to be Gary Toole. I am saved, sanctified, filled with the sweet Holy Ghost. I have the fruits of the spirit. I have a promise of eternal life. I am laying up treasures in Heaven. John 14:2 says that, I have a mansion in Heaven on a street of gold and my heavenly father owns everything in all of creations.’” It’s good to be them.
