Montgomery County High School has announced that the Class of 2025 achieved a graduation rate of 97%.

The district shared that this accomplishment reflects the hard work and dedication of the Montgomery County High School students, as well as the school’s teachers and staff that encouraged them along the way.

Superintendent Ronda Hightower commented on the achievement, as she emphasized that this year’s graduation rate is one of the highest in recent years. “We are very proud of our students, our teachers and staff, and our parents for achieving a 97% four year cohort graduation rate! This is our highest graduation rate yet in our 3 year trend data,” she remarked. “This is a testament to the unwavering dedication we have to ensure we are preparing each and every student for his or her future, not our past. This is also a testament to the blessing we have of being a small school district, but still being able to offer big opportunities for students.”

She added, “Our small student population allows us to keep a tight track on the progress of each and every student. Our big opportunities include our partnerships with Brewton Parker Christian University, Southeastern Technical College, Coastal Plains, and of course our Southeastern Early College and Career Academy (SECCA). It takes all of us working together to ensure every student is successful and this is just what our Eagle Family has done for the class of 2025.”
