PAINTING THE TOWN PINK – Last week, the Vidalia Fire Department worked to paint fire hydrants pink as part of the annual “Painting the Town Pink” event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. People are encouraged to sign the fire hydrants in memory and honor of those fighting or who have fought the disease. BREAKING GROUND – The Southeastern Early College and Career Academy (SECCA) officially broke ground on their new $1.3 million expansion during a formal ceremony on Monday, May 11.
