HONORING A FEMALE VETERAN -- American Legion Post 97 of Vidalia Adjutant Norman Munthe (right) and Veteran Service Officer Debbie O’Neal (left) honored Post 97 Chaplain Kelsha Weaver (center) with a Certificate of Appreciation and a woman veteran pin for her dedicated service in the U S Army, in which she served from 1994 to 2017. She retired as a Major in the Army Medical Service Corps, and was recently sworn in as Treasurer at the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Vidalia. BREAKING GROUND – The Southeastern Early College and Career Academy (SECCA) officially broke ground on their new $1.3 million expansion during a formal ceremony on Monday, May 11.
