ANIMAL COMMUNICATION — Miss Molle and Miss Ford's class at Wheeler County Elementary School learned about the different ways animals communicate. One animal that stuck out in their research process was bats. Students learned that bats have a unique form of communication called Echolocation. Students explored this process by pretending to be bats and 'echolocate' one another. To wrap up learning, each student created an informational writing piece titled, “I ‘Bat’ You Didn't Know...' REMOVING A HAZARD – Because of the deterioration and damage of the old Montgomery County Middle School building, which is located behind the Montgomery County Board of Education, the structure will be demolished in the coming month.
