Mrs. Anita Gloria Bush, age ….

Mrs. Anita Gloria Bush, age 90, died on Sunday, January 16, 2022, after an extended illness. Mrs. Bush was a native of Biloxi, MS. She and her Air Force husband lived in Texas, South Carolina, Louisiana, Germany, Florida and retired to Georgia. She worked in Vidalia for the Green Stamp Store and Belk Matthews. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she worked on various committees while active in the church. After retirement, she and her husband became Georgia Power park hosts at camps along Lake Oconee shores. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Wiley Austin Bush, Jr.; her parents, Ramon Gonzalez and Florence Ethel Jackson Gonzalez; and 3 sisters, Aurora Maxine Gonzalez, Anna Eve Soldo and Ramona Hill.

She is survived by her children, Michael Bush (Pamela) of Hephzibah and Steven Bush of Vidalia; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Bush McDonald (Robert) of Evans, Christopher Bush (Amy) of Appling, Michelle Bush Smith (James) of Indian Land, SC, and Megan Bush Short (Shane) of Fortson; 10 great-grandchildren, and another on the way due on her birthday in April; and several nieces and nephews in Louisiana, Illinois, California and Florida.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home, with Rev. Randy McDuffie officiating. Burial followed in Graniteville Cemetery in Graniteville, SC, at 3:00 p.m., with Mr. Chris Bush officiating.
