Annual Tyrone Jones Basketball Camp To Be Held

Local youth looking to sharpen their fundamentals on the hardwood will have a great opportunity this July right here in Vidalia. The annual Tyrone Jones Skills & Shooting Basketball Camp is set to return to the J.R. Trippe Middle School Gym, offering five days of free instruction for kids ages 5 to 13. Running from July 13 to July 17, the camp sessions will take place each morning from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Jones is offering the skills and shooting camp at absolutely no cost to the families. It provides a solid chance for the younger generation to get into the gym to work on ball handling, shooting mechanics, and the basic skills that build a basketball foundation.
