The Susanna Haynes Enterprises (SHE) will return to Vidalia to host their annual free Girls Summer Camp on June 12-13.
Camp Victory is designed to inspire, encourage, and equip young girls ages 10-21 through mentorship, leadership development, faith-based empowerment, educational workshops, team-building activities, and unforgettable experiences that promote confidence and purpose. The Camp will feature several guest speakers, mentorship sessions, educational activities, giveaways, entertainment, and more.
Captain Susanna Haynes, a Vidalia native who is currently serving as a chaplain in the United States Air Force, leads the Camp. Though she is currently based at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California, Haynes travels back to her roots each year to help inspire the next generations of girls to fulfill their potential and live a life rooted on faith and confidence.
“This Camp is more than just an event – it is a movement dedicated to empowering young girls to become leaders in their homes, schools, communities, and future careers,” she emphasized. “We want every girl to leave Camp Victory knowing she is valuable, capable, and destined for greatness. The Camp provides a safe and uplifting environment where girls are encouraged to dream big, overcome obstacles, and embrace their identity and potential.”
In addition to Haynes, several community organizations, churches, businesses, volunteers, and more will come together to invest in the lives of these young girls and help prepare them for the future.
Campers must register for the event, but registration is free. The camp will be held from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on June 12-13 at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia.
