The Montgomery County High School (MCHS) Class of 2026 honored a lasting tradition in the County, as they celebrated their upcoming graduation with their fellow students and community members on Friday, May 15.

On Friday, the graduates first walked down the halls of Montgomery County Middle/High School, as they high-fived their fellow students and celebrated the end of their time in the school. The seniors then traveled to Montgomery County Elementary School, where they walked hand-inhand with the school’s kindergarten graduates, reminiscing about their time in the building and celebrating the next generation of Montgomery County Eagles.

The graduates then visited the Montgomery County Courthouse, where they were greeted by Montgomery County Clerk of Court Tammy Foskey, Deputy Clerk of Court Clarissa Howell, Probate Judge Stacie Randolph, Probate Clerk Angel Hurst, Sheriff Ben Maybin, Chief Deputy Ron Bivins, their parents, and fellow community members. The students gathered in the Courthouse’s historic courtroom, where Sheriff Maybin and Judge Randolph presented Valedictorian Evan Hardeman and Salutatorian with letters and gifts, emphasizing their pride in the students.
