On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the Grace Walkers met for the 10th year at the home of Larry and Barbara Cowart to walk 6 kilometers to donate money to dig wells in developing countries. Without wells and running water available in many developing parts of the world, 6K (6 kilometers or 3.728 miles) is the average distance women and children walk to get water – water that is often contaminated with life-threatening diseases. The World Vision Global 6K for Water is a worldwide run, walk, or roll event that provides life-changing clean water to those in need. A1A BAND – The A1A Band is known as the Official and Original Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band, and will bring a little bit of Margaritaville flair to the Sweet Onion City for the July 4th Celebration at Ronnie A. Dixon City Park.
