Dr. Geoff Conner Opens New Wound Care Clinic

Dr. Geoff Conner, MD, announced the opening of a new clinic, Advanced Wound and Primary Care. This new facility is an addition to Dr. Conner's other health care and medical clinics, The Asthma and Allergy Clinic, Abednego Primary Care and Acute Care Clinic, located on one medical campus at 1608 Meadows Lane in Vidalia. LaDonna Hutcheson, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be the primary care provider at Advanced Wound and Primary Care.

Dr. Conner commented, 'We are extremely proud to offer this new service to our community and excited to have Ladonna back at our practice. She and her team offer traditional primary care solutions with a caring and personalized approach. In addition to primary care, Ladonna offers care for wounds that do not require surgical intervention.'

Mrs. Hutcheson obtained her nurse practitioner certification in 2007 after graduating with a Master’s Degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. She has been a licensed nurse since 1998. Mrs. Hutcheson originally joined Dr. Conner's practice in 2013 having come from Lower Oconee Community Hospital where she did primary care as well as treating patients in the Emergency Department. She is now returning to Vidalia from Quality Surgical Management, with expertise in advanced wound care including chemical and sharp debridement. She is married to Anthony Hutcheson, they have 3 children and have resided in Vidalia since 2007. Mrs. Hutcheson has a special interest in the treatment of diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, health promotion and prevention, acute illness and injuries, and now advanced wound care as well.
