BURN BAN
The Georgia Forestry Commission has lifted its statewide burn ban. The City of Vidalia and Toombs County have lifted their burn bans. Burn Bans are still in effect for Montgomery, Treutlen, and Wheeler Counties. For more information, call your local fire department.
Early Voting
Early Voting began throughout the region on Monday, April 27, and will continue on until Friday, May 15.
Election Day will be held on Tuesday, May 19, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. For more information on voting locations and hours, call your local Board of Elections and Registration.
IEP Online
Workshop
Parents and guardians of students with individualized education plans (IEPs) or individualized family service plans (IFSPs) can learn to effectively communicate with their IEP/ISFP teams during a free online workshop from 6 p.m. until 7p.m. on Thursday, May 14.
