which was sponsored by the Wheeler County Chamber of Commerce, candidates were interviewed by 8th Grader Kenlei Woods, as they shared information about themselves with the public. 8th Grader Macie Taylor videoed the event and broadcasted it online, allowing community members who could not attend the event to hear what these candidates had to say.

Candidates present were incumbent Board Member Henry Thomas “Tommy” Clark, who is seeking reelection for the District 2 seat on the Board; District 6 Board of Education seat candidate Wilburn “Jerry” Edge; and Board of Education Seat At Large Candidates Justin Kilpatrick, Julie Bridges, Marvin Howard, and Brian Screws.
