Skye Estroff will be hosting Vidalia’s Cooking Experience at 6 p.m. at the Pal Theatre on Tuesday, April 21, as she teaches attendees more about cooking delicious dishes that showcase the sweet flavor of Vidalia onions.
Estroff is no stranger to the Vidalia Onion Festival, as she was selected to ride with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels in Vidalia in 2024 as a part of the Blue Angels’ media flight program. Also, though she does not live in Vidalia, Estroff has strong connections to the area, as her grandparents Anita and Donald Estroff are pillars of the community.
She has solidified her reputation as “Atlanta’s Food Expert,” through her work on TV, where she hosted and produced the Foodie Road Trip show, as well as radio and podcasting, as she hosted the weekly Skye’s The Limit podcast. She has a degree in dietetics from the University of Georgia, and is a regular food judge of culinary competitions.
Estroff will kick off the city’s celebration of the Vidalia Onion Fesival by hosting a cooking demonstration and tasting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, at the Pal Theatre, located at 122 Church Street in Vidalia. Entry to the event will cost $20 each. Preregistration or tickets are not required.
