Three Toombs County High School student artists’ hard work has paid off, as the students placed in the recent county-level Georgia Farm Bureau Art Contest.
Students showed off their creativity and talent, as they crafted pieces of art that depicted images related to agriculture within the state. Ultimately, Tony Lopez took home the first place prize, Marissa Balderas followed in second place, and Natalie Ornelas captured third place.
Lopez’s work went on to compete at the district level against other counties in the region, as he represented Toombs County with pride.
“We are incredibly proud of these students’ hard work and the way that they continue to represent Toombs County High School,” Principal Marissa Morris emphasized.
