Mount Vernon Garden Club Visits County Farm Plant Co.

The Mount Vernon Garden Club recently traveled to County Farm Plant Company in Baxley as their final Spring meeting.

Members of Mt. Vernon Garden Club do not hold formal meetings in the month of May. Instead, each year, members either have a picnic or travel to some special place. On Tuesday, May 13, members traveled to the County Farm Plant Co. in Baxley and toured the many plants and greenhouses.

There was too much to see on one visit. For those who had never been there, many plan to go back. After the tour, members had lunch at Captain Joe's Seafood Restaurant in Baxley.

The club will not meet during the summer months. The next meeting will be in September.
