Indians Wrestle At Fitzgerald

The Vidalia High School wrestling team traveled to Fitzgerald to take part in the Fitzgerald Invitational. The Indians had a solid showing with 14 wrestlers placing in the top three of their weight class.

For the Lady Indians, Zakhia White led the way with a 1st place finish at 235lbs. Messiah Salem came in 2nd at 130lbs., and Imani Hall was 3rd at 130lbs. For the boys, Jack Godbee took first place at 190lbs. and Cayleb Sanford was 1st at 165lbs. Coming in 2nd place at 106lbs. was TJ Scott, 2nd at 120lbs. was Brennan Neumann, 2nd at 150lbs. was Alexander Muzafarov, 2nd at 157lbs. was Tracy Blair, and 2nd at 285lbs. was Torey Jackson.

Nolan Wade came in 3rd place at 215lbs., and Levi Palmer and Christopher Cheeks tied for 3rd at 285lbs.

The Indians will now continue to prepare for the Region Tournament which will be held this Saturday.
