Yumion Writing Contest Champions Announced

The annual Yumion Writing Contest was a hit among students in elementary and middle school this year, as over 300 entries were submitted for judging.

Winners of the contest came from a variety of schools in Toombs, Montgomery, and Tattnall Counties. These winners included: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade • 1st: Bixlei Bargstadt ( Jeff Davis Primary) • 2nd: Kyson Zhou ( J.D. Dickerson Primary) • 3rd: Lenox Po(er (Lyons Primary)

Isaac Baza (Lyons Primary) 3rd – 4th Grade

• 1st: Mia Eubank (North Tattnall Elementary) • 2nd: Romeo Paez (Robert Toombs Christian Academy) • 3rd: Harold Wright (North Tattnall Elementary) • Honorable Mention: Ivy Wilkes (Toombs Central Elementary) 5th – 6th Grades

• 1st: Dakota Register (Robert Toombs Christian Academy) • 2nd: Ameliyah Brown (Montgomery County Elementary) (Toombs County Middle) • Honorable Mention: Emma Kate Palma (Robert Toombs Christian Academy) 7th – 8th Grades
