responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of East Jenkins and Epstein Street. When officers arrived, they found that Godfrey, 23, and Wicker, 18, both of Soperton, had been shot. The victims were driven to Memorial Health Meadows Hospital by others at the scene, and eventually both died from their injuries.

King is charged with two counts of felony murder and five counts of aggravated assault. Hunt is also charged with five counts of aggravated assault, along with two counts of malice murder, one count of feticide, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, one count of armed robbery, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Jordan also faces several charges, including two counts of malice murder, one count of feticide, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, five counts of aggravated assault, one count of being a party to a crime, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
