(Right) A JOYFUL OCCASION – 2024 Miss Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby Lily Barfield was overjoyed during her crowning at the pageant on Saturday, February 17.

REMOVING A HAZARD – Because of the deterioration and damage of the old Montgomery County Middle School building, which is located behind the Montgomery County Board of Education, the structure will be demolished in the coming month.
OVER TWO DECADES OF SERVICE – Toombs County Commissioners recently thanked Motor Grader Operator Randy Rogers for dedicating over two decades of service to ensuring the County’s dirt roads were smooth.
