Indians Sending 6 To State

The Vidalia High School wrestling team will be sending six wrestlers to the GHSA State AA Traditional Tournament in Macon this weekend after they had good showing at the Sectional Tournament last weekend.

Myikel Johnson, Deuce Hightower, Ronald Pointer, Jack Godbee, Marcus Dixon, and Stephen Cheeks each qualified in their respective weight classes. Hightower finished in 1st place at 165 lbs., Pointer was 1st at 175 lbs., Godbee took 1st at 190 lbs., and Dixon finished 1st at 215 lbs. Johnson came in 4th place at 113 lbs., and Cheeks was 4th at 285lbs.
