HOT SHOWER - Ben Hopkins, Site Manager for Storm Services, oversees the base of operations located at the Vidalia Municipal Airport and a crew of 18 staff that provide essential services such as hot showers, laundry and hot meals for the linemen that have come to restore electrical service for this area.
CLEARING TRANSMISSION LINES – Georgia Transmission is using helicopters to cut trees off transmission lines. Saws hang from these helicopters and cut limbs and other debris off the lines.
