CHRISTMAS SPIRIT UNITES COMMUNITY – Children, adults, and families from across the area gathered at the Montgomery County Courthouse Square in Mount Vernon on Saturday, December 9, for the Christmas at the Courthouse event, which featured performances by a local dance studio, church children’s choir, and musicians. The event is a revitalization of the former Christmas at the Courthouse event, which united the community decades ago.
