Wheeler Flag Football Underway

The 2023-24 high school flag football season got underway last week, and the Wheeler County High School Lady Bulldogs took on Southwest Macon and Washington County in their first week of action.

Head Coach Cory Reynolds, Assistant Coach Jennifer Conner, and the Wheeler County Lady Dawgs are off to a 1-1 start.

Last Monday, October 23, the Bulldogs beat Southwest Macon 41-0, and then lost to Washington County by a score of 6-0.

Wheeler County was at Colquitt County on Monday of this week and at Swainsboro on Tuesday, both games after presstime. They will be back in action on Thursday at Dodge County, and their first home game will be on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. against Mc-Intosh County Academy.
