Vidalia To Host Cheer Classic

The 23rd Annual Sweet Onion Cheer Classic will be held this Saturday, October 14, at Parsons- Reid Gymnasium at Vidalia High School. The event, sponsored by the Paul Thigpen Automotive Group, will host forty-two teams from across the state, including local teams Vidalia, RTCA, and Toombs County.

This year’s event will be divided into two Middle School and two GHSA sessions. The Lady Indians will compete in the 3:30 p.m. session and take the floor at approximately 4:15 p.m.

The Middle School part of the competition will showcase 22 teams featuring J.R Trippe Middle School. Other area teams, including Toombs County, will compete.
