Taylor County opened the fourth quarter with another touchdown drive of their own. However their two-point conversion attempt failed, giving the Vikings a 20-14 lead with 8:00 minutes remaining in the game.

The Eagles put together their best drive of the night, which was capped by another touchdown pass by Owens, this time hitting Jordyn Patterson on an 11-yard slant route for the score. Ortega was good with the PAT, to give the Eagles a 2120 lead with only 4 minutes remaining.

However, the Eagles were not able to stop the Vikings offense from going on an 80-yard game winning TD drive that was sealed by a long TD pass with only a few minutes remaining.

The Eagle offense was led by quarterback Joseph Owens, who completed 15 passes on 28 attempts for 176 yards and two touchdowns. The leading receiver for MOCO was Marquis Martin, who had 6 catches for 104 yards and one touchdown. Jayden Harris led the team in rushing against the Vikings with 23 yards on 3 carries, and Elijah McEwen was the leading tackler on the night for the Eagles.

The Eagles hope to bounce back this week when they host rival Wheeler County on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
