RTCA Golf At Region & State

Robert Toombs Christian Academy's golf teams competed in the newly formed GIAA boys' Region Golf Tournament. This tournament was held at River North Country Club Golf Course in Macon. The 2023 golf season ended with RTCA placing fifth in the Region tournament.

Only one team at the Region Tournament shot a low enough score to advance to the State Tournament.

Junior Ryan Wiggins received the Team Low Medalist award. Other Region golf competitors were freshman Hayden Meeks, junior Mitchell Fulmer, and senior Sebastian Holmes. RTCA also hosted the first GIAA girls' State Golf Tournament on March 10. Freshman Ronnie Thompson finished as the third place individual competitor.
