Game 2
The second game didn’t turn out so well for the Bulldogs even though they jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning on a Harris double.
The Dawgs carried that 2-0 lead into the fourth inning, but a couple of timely hits and a few errors gAve Brantley County a 3-2 lead. The Herons pulled away from there to defeat the Bulldogs 9-2 to even the series.

Game 3
The Bulldogs made the long trip to Nahunta on Wednesday for Game 3 of the Region series against the Brantley County Herons. Unfortunately, the Dawgs could not get the bats going and fell to the Herons 5-0 to lose the series.

Toombs is in the final week of the regular season this week as they face off with the Bears of Pierce County. Toombs was at home on Monday and in Blackshear on Tuesday for the first two games of the three-game series. They will play the final game on Wednesday in Lyons at 5:45 p.m.
