Treutlen Takes 2 From Dooly

The Vikings baseball team of Treutlen County High School took on the Bobcats of Dooly County last week and picked up two wins. They improved their record to 6-12 on the year and 5-7 in Region play.

The Vikings fell on Wednesday in the first game of the series. It was a close game, but Dooly pulled it out, 6-5.

They then played a double header in Soperton on Friday with the Vikings winning both games. In the first game of the day, the Vikings picked up the win, 19-4 over the Bobcats. Then in the second game Treutlen won, 14-1.

This week Treutlen took on Swainsboro on Monday after presstime. They will be back in action on Wednesday against the Warriors of Tattnall County in Reidsville at 5:30 p.m.
