Crusaders Win Two Games

Robert Toombs Christian Academy's baseball team took on Brentwood Academy on Wednesday of last week and picked up the win over the War Eagles. They then run ruled Twiggs Academy on Thursday at home. vs. Brentwood

RTCA picked up two runs in the top of the first inning to take the early lead on the War Eagles and then added two more in the third inning to lead 4-0. Brentwood plated a run in the bottom of the fourth inning and added two more in the fifth to close the RTCA lead to 4-3.

The Crusaders scored twice in the sixth inning and then finished it off with four runs in the seventh to take the win, 10-3. vs. Twiggs

The Crusaders were the first to score with a run in the bottom of the first inning. They added six more in the second inning to push the lead to 7-0. Four more runs for RTCA in the third inning put them on top 110, and they held in the top of the fourth inning to win the game by the run rule, 11-0.

RTCA is off this week for spring break and will get back to work next week.
