Last week Toombs County High School standout, Wil Watts, signed his letter of intent to play football for the Fleet of Erskine College. Watts has been a top athlete at Toombs not only in football, but also on the Bulldog wrestling team and on the baseball team.

Head Football Coach Buddy Martin said, “Today we celebrate Wil as he signed a football scholarship to Erskine College in Due West, SC. Wil has exemplified what it means to 'Be a Dog', a slogan of the Toombs County Athletic Department.

“We are extremely proud of Wil and this opportunity that he has to continue his education and football career at the collegiate level. Wil is a leader of his peers at Toombs County High School and has set a great example for others to follow. Wil Watts is a Dog!”
