Brantley and Kipp Mosley, a walk by Will Watts, and a double by Jesus Quintero. The Bulldogs collected eight hits on the day as Brantley and Mosley all had multiple hits for the Dawgs.

Game 3

The Toombs County Bulldogs made their way over to Tattnall County on Thursday afternoon for game three of their first region series. The Bulldogs had previously beaten the Warriors 9-3 and 10-0 earlier in the week, and were looking to sweep game three to move to 3-0 in region play. The Bulldogs did just that, beating Tattnall County 15-4 thanks to a timely ten run second inning.

Tattnall County opened up the scoring in the first inning, which put the Dawgs behind early.

It did not take long to turn that around, however, and in the second inning, Kipp Mosley, Tyson Brantley, Trayvone Harris, Will Watts, Jesus Quintero, and Mosley powered a big 10 run inning with RBIs. Mosley doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Brantley’s sacrifice fly scored one run, Harris singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs, Watts was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Quintero drew a walk, scoring one run, Mosley drew a walk, scoring one run, Jackson Jenkins drew a walk, scoring one run, and Ryder Sears drew a walk, scoring one run. These 10 runs were all the Dawgs needed to secure the win.

Gavin Hall earned the win for Toombs County. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing four hits and four runs. Freshmen Tucker Braddy threw two strong innings in relief out of the bullpen to shut down the Warriors.

Toombs County scattered eight hits in the game. Mosley, Quintero, and Harris all collected multiple hits for the Bulldogs.

Toombs is now 8-7 on the year and are 3-0 in Region play. The Bulldogs face off with the Pirates of Appling County this week in a three-game Region series. The first game was on Tuesday after presstime. They will host the Pirates on Thursday evening at 5:45 p.m. and then travel to Baxley on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
