MCHS Wins 1 Over Telfair

The Eagles of Montgomery County High School played last week in a three-game series against Telfair County. MCHS picked up a win in the first game but dropped the next two.

The Eagles picked up just their second win of the season as they won the first game of the series over the Trojans. MCHS took the win 3-0.

In the second game, though, Telfair came back and defeated MCHS 8-4. The Trojans won the third game of the series as well, 10-4.

MCHS is now 2-7 on the year. They took on Twiggs County on Monday of this week after presstime. They will play East Laurens on Wednesday at home at 5:30 p.m. and then again on Thursday on the road at 5:30 p.m.
