Lady Crusaders Get A Win

The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders basketball teams were in action last week as they took on Trinity Christian and John Milledge Academy. The Lady Crusaders split their games while the boys dropped both of theirs.

Girls vs. Trinity

Tinity was on top early 8-4, but RTCA came back to take a 12-10 lead early in the second quarter. Trinity was back on top just before the end of the first half 2016.

RTCA started to come back in the third quarter and was on top late in the fourth 43-35. RTCA took the win 49-35 over Trinity.

Boys vs. Trinity

In the boys game RTCA fell to Trinity. RTCA was up early 5-3, but early in the second quarter Trinity had taken the lead 1512.

Trinity continued to pull away from RTCA and took the win 51-40. vs. John Milledge

In the girls' game against the Lady Trojans, RTCA was held to just 34 points. John Milledge took the win over RTCA 48-34.

The boys also struggled on the offensive side of the ball as they were held to 33 points. John Milledge picked up the win over the Crusaders 63-33.

This week RTCA is at the Stratford Christmas Tournament. On Tuesday after presstime they faced off with Mount de Sales. On Wednesday they play Stratford Academy with the girls at 6:00 p.m. and the boys to follow.
