BPC Cross Country At SSAC Meet

Brewton-Parker College's Men’s Cross Country competed at the SSAC Championship in Danville, AL, on Friday morning of last week. The Barons secured sixth place in the nine-team race with 142 team points. Briley Reyes led the way with a time of 28:20.10 for 18th and All-Freshman Team honors. DeMario Thomas followed behind Reyes in 22nd with a time of 28:54.40 with Jacob Hackenberry finishing with a time of 29:38.30 for 30th.

Hunter Milhollin recorded a time of 30:33.10 for 39th with DJ Christensen securing 40th with a time of 30:57.90. Jordan Hackett crossed the finish line with a time of 31:18.90 for 41st followed by Chris Smith in 45th with a mark of 32: 23.70.

Eric Smith finished in 46th with a time of 33:02.50 with Mason Smith following in 50th with a time of 34:12.60. Frankie Williams rounded out the Barons in 51st with a time of 34: 13.80.

In addition to the oncourse accomplishments, Thomas was honored as the Barons’ Champions of Character representative while Hackett and Williams earned All-Academic Team honors.
