The Vidalia High School Indians cross country team took part in the 7 Mile Farms Invitational hosted by Southeast Bulloch. It was a challenging course but the Indians brought home three medals from the race.

Georgia Meredith led the way for VHS with a fourth place finish. Andrew Hodges took fifth place and Seth MacGregor came in sixth.

The boys varsity team placed second to Southeast Bulloch as a team with Hodges, MacGregor, Chamlee Evans, Cash Driggers, Jude Owen, Abrien Anthony and Hunter Loosberg.

Coach Mandy Godbee said, “Overall this team steps up to some significant challenges and competition and always performs very well. We reset our sights to next Thursday at Jeff Davis for a very flat, fast course. This will be our last regular season scheduled meet with the Regional Meet right around the corner on October 26, at Toombs County.
