Early Voting

Continues

Advance voting in the November 8 General Election continues through November 4.

Voters must visit the registrar’s office in their respective counties to complete advance voting Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Saturday voting will be held October 22 and October 29, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The last day to request an absentee ballot will be October 28.

Event

October is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month. A candlelight event will be held at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital on Thursday, October 20, at 6:45 p.m. in memory of babies born silently into the world. The community is invited to attend.

Playhouse

Presents “Treasure

Island”

The Franklinia Playhouse will present “Treasure Island” on October 20, 21, and 22, at 7 p.m. nightly, at the Southeastern Technical College auditorium, 3001 East First Street, Vidalia.

Food Truck Fest

Downtown Vidalia Association is sponsoring a Food Truck Fest on Saturday, October 22, 11 a.m.8 p.m. in downtown Vidalia. Music, food and fireworks. Free admission.
